Christmas Parties!

Amy girl had a very busy Saturday last weekend! She was over booked with Christmas parties, plus Aggie basketball and Hannah's volleyball tournament!

We started the morning at my mom's group's breakfast with Santa...she was a BIG fan of the big guy this year! She told him that she wants Blocks and Cars!

Mimi and Amy...so cute!
On the way to Santa, dragging Daddy!

Visiting with Santa...she was really taken by him!

Then Grams met us at the Anadarko Christmas Party! It was great, as always...lots to do! And Amy girl got her face painted...she sat super still and really loved her snowman.

Then Amy made a puppy cookie! She concentrated super hard on it!
The finished product! Enjoying some cookie with Grams :)
Sugar High!
We also took Mimi to see the Aggie Basketball team for her birthday! It was Amy's first Aggie game and she loved it! She sat with her Gig'em thumb up the whole time!
Ready for the game! (Please ignore Daddy's eye...Flash hit him and blacked it!)
After the game, we headed over to watch the last game of our cousin Hannah's volleyball tournament...It was super fun too!

Amy playing with Laura!
A little Libero action shot! She was super awesome!
After the game! Hannah, Amy and Marco...Amy was super enthralled with Marco! Very cute :)

Big Girl Bed

We have started to transition Amy girl into a big girl bed. Daddy took the rail off her crib last weekend and so far she has been doing pretty good in her big bed :) Here are a couple of cute pictures of her trying it out!

Snow in H-Town!

Friday we had snow!!! It was so fun! Amy didn't play in it since the grass was so wet, it was a mess. However, Flash and Dallas were loving it! Flash loves cold weather and was just running and running through it!

For the record, Roxy sat on the porch the whole time...not a cold weather girl!
Once we were inside, Amy and her pups had a picnic :) She is very sweet to share and they both know it! The three of them went through several bowls of cheerios!
Matt put up our Christmas decorations in the snow! Probably a once in a lifetime in Houston!
Amy has also been a huge help putting up Christmas decorations! Pulling in the tree!
Lights on the tree!

Thanksgiving!

We had a whirlwind Thanksgiving...we were in Houston for Thanksgiving, College Station for the game and then headed to Amarillo for a family reunion! What a weekend, very fun!

Thanksgiving morning we headed to downtown for the parade, it was great! Amy just got tired, so we didn't stay the whole time...but she loved seeing everything!
Her favorite balloon!

We had thanksgiving with Matt's family and it was fabulous! Amy got to eat with her little cousins and was such a big girl!
Waiting at the airport to go to Amarillo...Amy loved all the planes :)We woke up Sunday to SNOW!!! Tyler was so excited! And it was big pretty snow, so the kids played out in the snow for awhile!
Ryan and Amy ready to go!
Ryan borrowed a hat and looked a little French :)
Tyler making a snow angel :)
Inside for breakfast! Two kids + a dozen doughnut holes + snow = WILD
Making a snowman!
Amy bringing Uncle Galyn some snow...
Loving it!
Mimi and the grandkids!
Attempting to get all three little ones and the snowman...
The Gafford boys...so precious!
There is one with all of them, finally!
We were lucky enough to get to watch fighter jets doing some take off and landing exercises while we waited at the airport...it was awesome to see!

Happy Halloween!

We had quite a fun Halloween this year! Amy loves pumpkins and made a pretty cute little one :)

The week before Halloween, Opa and Oma came to visit...we took them to a pumpkin patch and Amy loved it...only trouble was she couldn't pick up all the pumpkins...in Dallas, they were all small so she could...she still tried with the big ones though :)

Woo...heavy!

Oma helping her sit on pumpkins...also super fun!
Too busy to look at Mommy!
Time for a cookie break with Opa and Daddy...
The next day, we decided to paint our pumpkins so that Amy could help! She had tons of fun!
Water break...with a little paint on her face...
Trying to decide where to put her wooden pumpkin...
Also, Oma taught Amy to say Willila...very impressive and we think it is precious!!! She is one up on most people now :)

On Halloween, Grams and Mimi came to help us celebrate, so Daddy and Amy carved a pumpkin...
Drawing on the face...
Yikes...all of these are out of order and I am too lazy to fix them...

Amy and Daddy off to another house...after the first two houses, everytime we asked her if she wanted to go to a house, it was a very quick "yes" :)
At our second house...that is Amy's friend Lucky in the background...he walks by our house every night and he and Amy visit...she usually gives him tons of hugs!
Ready for Trick or Treating! Flash and Roxy went with us to help their little sister out! And there is the only picture we got of our finished pumpkins!
Sorry, back to the pumpkin carving...Amy pulling out the seeds...
Yikes...kind of gross...she gave up after this and let Daddy pull out the rest!
Back to trick or treating...
Grams and Amy coming back from another house!
Mimi's turn!
Back at home...our little pumpkin in the pumpkin patch :)
After trick or treating, Daddy and I had to get ready for our Halloween Party :) Amy had to try on Daddy's mullet wig...unfortunately she wouldn't turn around so I could see the front! And of course Flash had to get in a picture :)
Mommy and Daddy, the white trash shotgun wedding :) Sadly we did not win the costume contest, but we did have fun!
