South Padre - Part One

Last weekend we headed down to South Padre with Mimi and the Gaffords...such fun! We had a great time and it was so fun to see all the kids play together!

Now for Picture overload...sorry, I just couldn't narrow them down more than this!

The next morning, Tyler and I had to race like the crabs he had seen on the beach the night before...he won the race!

Before she could head to the beach, she had to get some important emails out of the way, apparently...

The crab racing wasn't the end of the racing...Matt also showed Tyler how to run a wheelbarrow race...

I had the bright idea we would take some family pictures on the beach...Amy thought otherwise! She wanted no part in them, she just wanted back in the water! This is the best of the three of us there is...

We thought she might look up if she could move - Nope!

She did finally smile and look while Mimi had her!

South Padre - Night On the Town!

On Sunday night we all loaded up and went out to dinner...Afterwards, we went to ride go carts. It works great that Tyler is so tall...At 3 he was the required 42 inches to ride!

South Padre - Last Day

On the last day, we took Amy to the beach to try one last ditch effort at some pictures...she was a little more in the mood that day!





She spent most of her time at the beach like this...filling up any container with sand, one scoop at a time...seriously, she would do this for hours...

Finally she looked at the camera...a little at least!

Weekend with Tyler

This weekend Tyler came down to stay with Mimi and we had so much fun playing with him!!! Expecially Amy! They were so sweet together! She woke up from her nap and asked for Ty-ter...very cute!

Thanks Aunt Amanda, Uncle Galyn and Ryan for letting him come to play! We all loved having him here :)

Friday, Tyler and Mimi picked Amy up from school and they went to play at Mimi's "department" aka. apartment :)

Saturday morning we took them to Discovery Green to play at the splash park...if you haven't been, you need to go, it was such fun!

Here at the Roberts house, we don't believe in chlid labor laws...Amy is already helping with the mowing! She loves to sack up the grass once Daddy is done. She also loves to watch us mow, she will play in her pool and just watch us the whole time...we are training her to be an outside girl!
