Family Parties got a little more exciting!

Last Friday we had a family birthday party and wow...it was the first time all of Amy's little buddies have been together since they have become mobile...Amy is the youngest of 6 babies born in one year! They were so cute together and I can't wait to watch them all grow up!!! It definitely made the party exciting!

Aunt Meredith came down early to play and to make cobblers! And Amy had so much fun!!!

Coloring with Aunt Meredith...
Cobbler time...

On to the party...Aunt Sally turned 60 so we had a little special welcome for her...a little Mustang Sally!!! Awesome!
Amy and Grams waiting....
Amy is not too sure of the hat...I think she is a little young for the red hat society...
Aunt Sally and Emily...also not too sure of the hat!
Hattie...so silly :)
Wes filling up the pool...with lots of supervision!!!
Showtime...5 of the 6...let's just say, hard to get a picture of them all together!
Amy navigating the sea of little ones...
Yikes...want to go back to my pool where I am the only one in it!
Here they all are...
And the bigger kids joined in...wow...lots of fun!!!
Plenty of supervision!
We finished off the night with ice cream cones, but sadly our battery had died...very cute...Amy gave her left overs to Heidi, the boxer...they were good friends after that!

A messy, messy dinner...

Amy is very independent and likes to feed herself...sometimes it gets a little crazy...see below:

29 and no...not again...

A couple of weeks ago, I had a fabulous birthday...in spite of being asked several times if I was turning 29 again...and for the record, nope, this is the first time...Mimi and Amy made me a delicious cake and Daddy took us to Taste of Texas...delicious!!!

Amy mixing up my cake!
Taste testing the frosting...her favorite part of cooking!

Amy and Mommy with the masterpiece...she put the candles on herself! so big!
She wanted me to sit in her wagon...so we shared our cake in it...a little tight!

Happy 4th of July!!!

Flash securing a spot in puppy dog heaven...such a good boy :) he will let her climb all over him for hours!!!

On Saturday, Amy was in the 4th of July bicycle parade in our neighborhood...so cute :)

A firetruck leading the way! Amy in her decked out wagon! Next year, I am going to convince Daddy to let me ride in the other seat...

The Cat in the Hat and Cookie Monster rode with us too!!! Cookie monster even had a 4th of July bandana that he borrowed from Roxy!

Amy also got her first popsicle and she is a fan!!!
So sweet...
Such a cutie!!! But she looks so big...yikes, time flies!
Daddy helping a little...
Stopping for a sip from Opa...
Amy and I with the firemen...she liked them much better last year....not so sure now...
A group shot...
Oma, Opa, Mimi, Grandpa and Grams, thanks so much for coming to the parade...We loved having you all here!!!

House Update...

The tile is in! We finally got all of the new tile in and it is so nice! And we don't have concrete in the kitchen!

One last look at the old...Roxy wanted to be in the picture...
The new backsplash...we love it!

Finished tile...it makes the house look bigger and it is not slick!
On to the next project...paneling in the dining room...Opa and Oma came for the weekend and Opa helped Matt...very awesome...now I just have some nail hole filling and painting to do...
Luckily Daddy's girls were there to supervise!
Almost finished...wait until you see the curtain we made from some recycled fabric from Jeremy and Courtney's house!

Some catch up!

Here are just a few quick pictures from the end of June...we went to College Station to help with the B&B, which is getting so close...you can check out Aunt Meredith and Uncle Brandon's blog to see the updates...

Amy and Grams ready to go swimming...nice shades girls...
Playing in the pool, she swam for 2 hours and still cried when we got her out...

Cooking dinner for everyone...yummy deviled eggs for Uncle Mark!
We are tearing up Amy's bathroom, so she has moved to bathing in the sink :) so cute! poor little remodel baby!

Way to go Daddy!!!

Big news at the Roberts house in the last couple of weeks...

Last weekend, Matt passed the LEED Accredited Professional exam...he can now design "green" buildings!

But in even bigger news, last night we received his scores for the professional engineering exam and HE PASSED!!!! With an 89! There were lots of high-fives all around! Roxy even gave Amy one :) Such smart babies we have!

Matt, way to go, Amy and I are very proud of you!!!
