Sea World!

Last weekend, we took a quick trip to San Antonio for Sea World! (And Buc-ee's on the way!)

First thing...Shamu! Waiting for the show...apparently we need to work on her hat wearing skills...

Up next, the "big roller coaster"...Amy was just barely tall enough to ride it and she was so excited :) Brett while he was waiting...

That is us in the back...you can barely see her! She was pretty brave, even had her hands up for awhile...but then, "it went really fast, so I held on to Mommy"...was it scary? "no, just fast"

Sunday we headed out to the Alamo and the riverwalk! Amy wanted a picture by herself...

Amy saw a man climb up on the well to get his picture made...she then copied...would not let us help her...cracked us both up!

And of course, no one could be in her picture!

Lunch on the river! Brett couldn't look because he was busy talking with the ducks! It was fun to be there the day they were dying the river green...it started blue and by the time we left, it was nice and green!

Amy wanted their picture made here with the "pretty rocks" and she insisted that she hold Brett!

Rodeo!!!

Monday night we headed down to the rodeo! We just went to the livestock show and the kids loved it!!! Grams and Mimi went with us too!

Amy picked out yellow boots, so we had to make her a rodeo dress that would match...she picked all the fabric herself...Mimi sewed it for us...thanks Mimi!

Such a fun time! Maybe next year we will take them in to a concert...just not sure they are up for that :)

I got this picture this morning from Mimi...Titled "Busy"...which from the looks of it they are :) Just a busy day in your footie pajamas at Mimi's! And yes, it is 70 degrees today...but Amy loves to wear the footies just like "Bett"
This week, we also went to kids' night at Chik-Fil-A...They had Rodeo night, so the kids wore their rodeo clothes and watched the "Snake Eyed Willie" show! They loved it! They even got their picture made with Willie! It is even posted at Chik now, so they are pretty famous :) Luckily, I can see it a lot since I go all the time!!!

Busy Weekend...

Last weekend was crazy!!! We had Amy's birthday party Saturday and Brett's baptism Sunday! We were a little busy, but it was such a fun weekend :)

Amy LOVES Mickey Mouse and she picked a Mickey Mouse birthday party...not Minnie, has to be Mickey :)

Luckily Aunt Meredith is very talented and found this retired Mickey pan and made the most adorable cake ever! With some help from Uncle Brandon! It turned out to be absolutely precious!

Amy did not want her picture taken...she was still bummed, because she wanted a turn at getting water on her head...did not help that we explained that she did when she was little...

Here is my family...Oma and Opa drove from Amarillo to Corpus Christi to help with Caylee and then drove up to Houston just to spend the weekend with us...we are very blessed to have such special grandparents...thanks again guys!
