Happy Easter!

Lots of fun Easter pictures...we had a great long weekend! Friday Grams came to play and then Saturday, Aunt Meredith and Uncle Brandon came to help dye eggs...however, I was outside while they did and they did not take any pictures...boo

Amy and Grams made some bunny sucker cookies...here is her very natural smile :)
We also went to Mark and Marli's wedding shower...can't believe the wedding is less than two months away...so exciting! Matt was in charge of pictures, so this is the only one we got!

Sunday morning, Amy did some egg hunting before church...Roxy Belle was a big helper!
Loved the bed head!

Little man did not hunt any hard boiled eggs...I can only imagine what that would have turned out like :)

Off to church..."hey Matt let's get some cute pictures of the kids at the fountain" = bad idea...see below!

Amy keeping Brett still...

Or tackling him...

Inside we tried some more pictures...this is a new favorite...even if he looks a little like a used car salesman...

Grams and the littles...

Uncle Mark and the littles...

Amy and her Godparents...

Mimi and Brett...love this one :)

Mimi and the littles...not sure what Amy's face is...

Brett and Aunt Marli...

Another new favorite :)

Amy "helping" Brett walk :)

After church we headed to the park and did some egg hunting with the cousins...not sure what Amy is doing in these...she is a mess!

And they are off!

Amy and Maddie on the hunt...

Brett on the hunt...he was a little slower hunter!
Mason got the golden egg!

Brett on the move!

Over 50 of this pose on the camera...this is the best one we got...

Checking out their eggs...

We also celebrated Brett's birthday...reading his new book from Aunt Pat...
And riding his awesome dump truck!!! He is loving this one! Thanks Johnsons, Hills and Ketrons!

Oh yes...and Amy is loving it too!

MS150!

Well another one down! Matt and I had a great ride on Saturday...we rode from Magnolia, so it was right at 100 miles! It was fun to ride together again! We hadn't both done the ride since 2007! Unfortunately, the drinks they had were pomegranate flavored, which triggered a miagraine for me...About an hour after we finished Saturday, I got very sick...since I woke up still fuzzy and with a headache Sunday morning, I decided to skip the second day...I was disappointed, but I think it was the best choice...Here are some pictures from Austin!

Amy and Mimi made a sign for us and they made Amy and Brett Anadarko shirts...too cute :)

Mr. Jeremy helping Amy hold her sign up while we waited for Daddy!
The whole crew waiting!

Here comes Daddy! You would have thought he was a rock star...Amy talked about him touching her hand for days...too cute :)

Good job Daddy!
Group shot...Brett was too busy to look!

Love this one...such a helper!

The annual capital picture :)

And with Mimi and the freakshows holding up their bikes :)

And a few shots once we were back to Mimi's with their shirts and sign! Too cute :)

Thanks again to Mimi for watching them and to Mr. Jeremy for bringing them to Austin to see us! Together we raised $3000 for such an awesome cause! We can't wait for 2012!!!

Lately...

This is an old post...but it went to the old blog and I am too lazy to retype to make it relevent...so just imagine this was up a couple of weeks ago!
Matt and I have spent a lot of time biking and getting ready for the MS150 next weekend...Mimi, Amy and Brett even got in on the action a couple of weeks ago...they hosted a rest stop for an Anadarko ride...They all loved it! The hostess with the first riders...
Setup and waiting...

Amy rode her bike a little too! She was going to finish the ride with me, because she can "ride really fast"...

Chatting with Mommy...

Brett has been rocking a serious combover for the past couple of months, so Daddy finally gave in and trimmed it up...once it was in his eyes...

Before...

After...

Grams came to stay last weekend, so we could ride and she and Amy fixed Daddy an early birthday dinner complete with strawberry pie :) Delicious!

We bought a swingset right before we moved, but the bottom of all the boards were rotted...Matt rebuilt it and got it all put together last weekend...it has been super fun! We played on it almost every night this week...and the slide is "super fast" and "like a roller coaster"

Roller coaster hands...

And a little hug :)
