Happy Birthday Mommy...

Keeping with the month behind theme...my birthday was also in July...we had a great day!  We went swimming, ate steaks and Matt and Amy made a delicious cake!  Complete with 31 candles...it was bright...scared Brett even!
 See...lots of fire...
Brett trying to get into the cake, Amy making a silly face...

4th of July...a tad bit late :)

Getting closer to being caught up here...for the 4th of July, Grams invited us up to Bryan for a party in Heritage Park...we had a great time!

Amy getting her face painted...an American Flag of course!
Brett's turn...Amy picked a yellow star for him...
Group shot...Amy was too busy watching other things...
They had a parade around the park and Mommy forgot the wagon...that didn't slow us down though...we just walked :)

They had an old wagon so we stopped for a photo op...Amy's natural "cheese" face!
Mimi and the little ones...Brett apparently being serious!
They also had kid's games...Amy was good at the sack race!
 Ready to go!
Brett wanted in too!  Amy even learned to jump by herself...
And a three legged race!  She and Daddy were quite the team...
 As were she and Grams!
Later we headed to Bryan's splash pad and were the only kids there!  Good timing...Brett wasn't too sure about it...love his face here...
 Where did the water go?

Uncle Mark and Aunt Marli's Wedding!

In late June, we headed to Lake Travis for Uncle Mark and Aunt Marli's wedding...we had a fabulous weekend and luckily our little flower girl was great!

At the rehearsal Amy made friends with Mark's friend from work that officiated...she was BFF with him the rest of the time :)
Getting her present at the rehearsal dinner...such a big girl...
Mark telling a funny basketball story about Matt...apparently something about hitting his face on the rim...greatness really :)
Amy and Uncle Mark
All the groomsmen...
Amy also loved playing with Andy...they were having a great time!
This was as we pulled out of the restaurants parking lot...poor girl passed out...of course it was after 11 :)
On to the wedding...Amy was precious and did such a great job...she did walk down the aisle a little bit slow...she was making sure not to drop too many petals at once!  She stood at the front the whole ceremony and wwalked right back out...we were very proud of her!
Dancing with her daddy!  This was her favorite move of the night...

The lovely couple...

Amy and Daddy blowing bubbles...she was really good!
We also spent some time at the lake with the Gaffords...

A little boat ride...

Such a great weekend!  Congrats Uncle Mark and Aunt Marli!

June and a Few Older Pictures...

I haven't downloaded pictures from our smaller camera in a long time...here is an old family picture from an Aggie basketball game...Brett was too busy watching the game for a picture...
We also went to the first baseball regional game...it was hot, but the kids loved it!  Amy borrowed my hat....
Brett watching an at bat intently...the boy loves sports!
After the game...
In June, we celebrated Jeremy's birthday with some cupcakes Amy made him...complete with candles...
For Father's Day, we headed down to Texas City to visit Grandpa and Matt's Grandma...We had a great time and loved visiting!
Amy LOVES Grandpa!

Grandma with some of her great-grandbabies...they loved visiting with her!
And a shot of four generations of Roberts :)
Amy wanted to dress like Daddy and had me take their picture as twins :)
We headed down to check out the Texas City Dike...it was rebuilt after Hurricane Ike and it is really nice...the kids loved checking out the beach...

Last but not least...Amy's garden had a few tomatoes before it got too hot...here are two tomatoes that we picked that were delicious!

Congrats to the Johnstons!

Wow...the blog is a little behind...I just realized I loaded these pictures over a month ago and just am writing about them...back in June a friend from Anadarko got married in a beautiful wedding in Houston and had an awesome reception at the Majestic Metro...it was an awesome place!  We had a great time with great friends!  Congrats Ryan and Erin!
