Happy Halloween!

We had quite a fun Halloween this year! Amy loves pumpkins and made a pretty cute little one :)

The week before Halloween, Opa and Oma came to visit...we took them to a pumpkin patch and Amy loved it...only trouble was she couldn't pick up all the pumpkins...in Dallas, they were all small so she could...she still tried with the big ones though :)

Woo...heavy!

Oma helping her sit on pumpkins...also super fun!
Too busy to look at Mommy!
Time for a cookie break with Opa and Daddy...
The next day, we decided to paint our pumpkins so that Amy could help! She had tons of fun!
Water break...with a little paint on her face...
Trying to decide where to put her wooden pumpkin...
Also, Oma taught Amy to say Willila...very impressive and we think it is precious!!! She is one up on most people now :)

On Halloween, Grams and Mimi came to help us celebrate, so Daddy and Amy carved a pumpkin...
Drawing on the face...
Yikes...all of these are out of order and I am too lazy to fix them...

Amy and Daddy off to another house...after the first two houses, everytime we asked her if she wanted to go to a house, it was a very quick "yes" :)
At our second house...that is Amy's friend Lucky in the background...he walks by our house every night and he and Amy visit...she usually gives him tons of hugs!
Ready for Trick or Treating! Flash and Roxy went with us to help their little sister out! And there is the only picture we got of our finished pumpkins!
Sorry, back to the pumpkin carving...Amy pulling out the seeds...
Yikes...kind of gross...she gave up after this and let Daddy pull out the rest!
Back to trick or treating...
Grams and Amy coming back from another house!
Mimi's turn!
Back at home...our little pumpkin in the pumpkin patch :)
After trick or treating, Daddy and I had to get ready for our Halloween Party :) Amy had to try on Daddy's mullet wig...unfortunately she wouldn't turn around so I could see the front! And of course Flash had to get in a picture :)
Mommy and Daddy, the white trash shotgun wedding :) Sadly we did not win the costume contest, but we did have fun!

Amy is excited...

to be a BIG SISTER!!! Baby Roberts will be here April 28th! Or in our case maybe the first part of May :) We are all very excited! We hopefully find out in November if we are having a boy or girl! Daddy says girl and Amy says brother...we will see who is right!

Amy showing off her birds on her shirt!
Trying to get a little one to stand still for a picture of the front of her shirt = impossible!

On the move...
There's one we can read...finally :)

Trip to Dallas!

Last weekend we went to Dallas to visit and celebrate Ryan's first birthday! Aunt Meredith and Uncle Brandon took us to the best pumpkin farm! We all had a blast! Amy is still talking about pumpkins and hay rides :)

Aunt Meredith and Amy feeding the goats!
Uncle Brandon's turn to help!

Checking out the big pumpkins...
Up close inspection...
Heavy pumpkins! Luckily she is so strong :)
Checking them out with Daddy!
Ready for the hay ride!
A silly smile with Daddy!
She was so tired and crashed on the way home...while holding her pumpkin still!
On to Ryan's party...such fun! And he is so precious!!!
And he had tons of help opening his presents!!!
Trying out the Mickey toy! Check out those blue eyes...so cute!
On to pictures! Mimi and almost all the grandkids :)
Aunt Trish and the birthday boy!
Amy loves "Tyter"!!! He cracks her up!
Then Tyler took some pictures! He is pretty good at using the timer :)
Amy's turn!
We had a fabulous weekend!!! Thanks everyone for a great weekend!!!

Random October Happenings...

A few pictures of the Clary House open house...apparently I only took pictures of Amy...

Amy and Mason watching a little TV together, impossible to get them both to look at once...but look how precious Mason is :)

Amy likes to play an ABC computer game and it cracks us up! She will sit at the computer all by herself and patiently hit one key...very cute :)

A Birthday Surprise for Grams!

In September, we went to Bryan to visit Grams and take her birthday goodies :) I made her and Amy matching aprons to use at the B&B (and by I, I mean Mimi and I - I always need help!) They broke them in making us some yummy cookies!

All good chefs check their food out...

They also spent some time watering the plants out front...if you look closely at Amy you can see Grams other birthday surprise :)

All in all, a great day to visit and celebrate a fabulous lady's birthday!!! Happy birthday Grams, we love you :)

Major Catch Up!

Wow...time flies when you are having fun...we have been so busy, but don't have much exciting to show for it! Here are just some random pictures from the past month!

Last month, we went to Maddie's 5th birthday party! Such fun! It was at Pump It Up...unfortunately, Amy still hates Pump It Up...not sure why, I think she is the only little one who hates it...This time she was even worse than at Tyler's party, she wouldn't let Matt or I play on anything either! I guess she is just playing it safe :)

Here she is before we went in...
She and Daddy sitting on the side...as long as we were all on the bench, she was okay :)

The birthday girl with her Scooby cake! Happy Birthday Maddie, thanks for letting us share in your party!
She has really been wanting a pillow in her crib with her, we won't let her have one, so she decided to use her bumpers...so cute :)

On Labor Day, Matt worked on the bathroom all day, it is getting much closer, just a little more plumbing and sheetrock...hopefully soon Amy will have a working bathroom!
She decided to get in on the plumbing and learn some things from Daddy...she can now say "pipe", "elbow" and "joint"...such a superstar :) She sat and watched him work for over an hour, so funny...and Daddy loved the help!
Silly face...
Flash was jealous of the pictures, so he had to jump in too :)

Another random day, Flash and Roxy earned their spots in puppy dog heaven...Amy really, really loves to be with them and play...I am pretty sure some of the things she does to them have to hurt...but they just sit patiently as she climbs and whatnot...
For instance, she sat on Flash's back to work her puzzle...the entire thing, the sweet boy never moved! It was precious!
Her new look when I tried to take her picture, must get her love of pictures from Daddy!
She then went on to the living room to read to Roxy...Roxy was super thrilled! She loves a good book! This is also Amy's new face...anything you say she gets this super shocked face...it is hilarious :)
Mimi and Amy made some mini apple pies for dessert while Matt and I worked in the bathroom...they had fun! Amy spent a lot of time testing the ingredients...
She also got a new toddler chair, since she is obsessed with sitting in chairs, we decided to get her one of her own...she loves it :) She also got a new backpack, which she is super pumped about!
