Wow...what a month!

Wow...just a crazy month of October...such a blur! The good news is we are officially moved! And are loving the bigger house! There is actually room for everything :) And thanks to some lovely friends and the best grandmothers in the world, we are almost set up! The kids rooms are already painted even! On to a mess of pictures to sum up our month!

Brett sleeps face down and this cracked us both up the other night... Princess Amy on the bicycle...clearly can't decide whether or not she wants to be a girly-girl or a tom-boy!

Amy was a huge help packing and moving! She labeled several boxes and packed up all her toys!

Brett spiked his hair up like a monster :)

Last trip to the park at the old house...

Brett tried out the swing...he wasn't too sure about it!

We also headed to Dallas for Ryan's second birthday! It was such fun! Uncle James, Aunt Courtney and Caylee moved back to Texas (YEA!) and stopped by Dallas on the way down to Corpus! Amy loved playing with Caylee and of course the boys! Although you wouldn't know it from this picture :)

Much better...just needed Ryan!

Caylee playing with Brett...

Tyler pushing Amy...super safe!

Oma, Opa and all of the great grandshildren! There were too many cute ones...so here are a few! (Mostly so Oma can see them all!)

Caylee - almost 5, Amy - 2, Ryan - 2, Jake - 5 weeks, Brett - 5 months, Tyler - 4

Side note, girls are so sweet...Caylee and Amy just grabbed hands! They know they are out numbered, so they better stick together!

And with all the grandkids...
Mimi and her grandkids! Still working on getting a good one...

Mimi and I also took the littles to the zoo for Zoo Boo...such fun! Amy and Brett enjoyed it! He got to ride in the stroller like a big boy and was so excited to see everything...he kept kicking his feet the whole way!

Pumpkin patch! (Brett was not too sure of the grass or the death grip, hug)

His face was cracking us up...Mimi tried everything to get him to smile...no such luck!

Brett eating on his pumpkin...

Carousel!!!

Fish exhibit...look at those legs!

In the tunnel...one of a 100 times...

Amy has also taken up feeding Brett...such a helper!

Amy helping move Mommy's truck!

Ready to go...

On a roll tonight...Comparison

Another comparison of the littles...We don't think they look too similar anymore...and of course Brett has a ton more hair...We also noticed how awful our kitchen was today when we were going back through these pictures! Wow...I am glad that remodel is over!

Brett at 4 months...
Amy at 4 months...(I miss those pretty radish door knobs!)

Exersaucer...

A few random pictures of what we have been up to!

A random one of Amy rocking herself to sleep...or not!
Last weekend Amy made a blackberry cobbler...delicious! She did have to sample several blackberries!

Amy is going to gymnastics on Wednesday mornings and LOVES it! Mimi and Grams take turns taking her and everyone is enjoying it! She seems so big in her leotard or "leolard" as she calls it! Here she is after wearing her leotard all day so that Daddy could see it :)

This morning Daddy got the Exersaucer down and just like Amy girl...Brett is a huge fan! Amy had a great time showing him how to use all the toys!
Checking out his toys...
A big smile for the camera...finally :)
Amy showing him how to use it...
A little deer in the headlights look :)
And of course, it is super fun for a big girl too!

Meeting Baby Jake...

Labor Day weekend we headed to Dallas to meet our newest little nephew, Jake William, or as Amy says "Jake-ee Boy"...she was very excited to see him! Although didn't want anyone else to hold "her Bretty Boy" :)

Sorry, the pictures are all out of order and I am too lazy to fix them!

Holding him for the first time!

Mimi and all the boys!

The Bonds and the boys!
Oma and Opa loving on Jake!
Mimi and Jake!
The big kids got fudgesicles...giant mess, but tasty!
Aunt Trish and Baby Jake!
We stayed with Aunt Meredith and Uncle Brandon! So fun! They made us homemade donuts...delicious! We also played Wii before bed...Brandon helped Amy with a little dancing :) And per Aunt Meredith's instructions, I did not include her in the picture!
Mimi and all the grandkids...this was the "best"...wow...
One of about 30 attempts...

August!

Wow...what a busy August...no time for blogging...to begin, Matt got a new job! Yea! He is now working for Kroger as their Energy Engineer for the Southwest Region! The other cool part is he works in The Woodlands now! Since we are both working up there now, we decided to sell our house and move! We have a contract on a house in Willis and are so excited!!! It is on a little more than an acre and a half and has 2 shops! We may never see Matt again :) But I can park in the garage...

On to the month of August in pictures...

Amy finally decided to play with her princess dress that Mimi made her for Christmas...a big breakthrough and she looks precious in it :)
A big milestone for Brett...his first football game...I am pretty sure there will be much more of this over the next few months! I can't wait! We love college football around here :)

Amy comes to our bed quite a bit nowadays and the other night, we ended up with both of them in our bed...We got up to get ready for work and noticed they were sleeping the same way...too cute :)
We also went to Amarillo for Oma's birthday! Such a fun weekend! We went to Black Mesa State Park in Oklahoma for a family reunion...or as Matt and Amy said "the middle of nowhere"...the cool part was we went in Oma and Opa's "house on wheels". Amy loved it :) We had a great time! It was fun to see everyone and Amy enjoyed playing with cousins!
Ready to go in the motorhome!
Brett playing with Uncle Pat!
Such a sweet boy!
Cheetos are a little messy, but super tasty :)
Amy went swimming with Mason!
Every reunion they take a picture of the oldest person and the youngest person...there were three brand new babies (Brett was the oldest), so we took one with all three babies and the three aunts! Brett got to sit with Aunt Charlotte!
Here is one with all of Oma's family that was there!
Mimi entertaining Amy and Brett through the other family pics!
Family picture!
Uncle Pat and Amy, waving!!!
Everyone at the Ferguson Family Reunion 2010!
After dinner, we took Amy and her cousins, Mason and Ryan on a "hike" :)
Getting ready to go...passing out the glow necklaces
Ready to go...starting down the path...
Ryan and Amy ready for the path...Mason turned back before the path...
Going on a hike...
Amy was so tired, she passed out trying to help Brett go to sleep...he of course was wide awake :) at 11:00...
Amy also picked a lovely bouquet of weeds...it was lovely :)
Ryan and Amy posing for a picture :)
Amy also got a haircut in Amarillo...Auntie trimmed up the top, hoping to make it grow a little more...we will see... All done!
Such a fun weekend! Glad we could help Oma celebrate her birthday!
